Saylor Elementary
Mrs. Sopko's 4th grade class did a geometry lesson today while designing a neighborhood. Students were given a checklist of items that had to be included on their map. Although their directions were the same, their neighborhoods were all unique.
PHS Military Visit
SSG Joseph Gajewski of the United States Army came to speak to Mr. Hruskocy's Introduction to Engineering Classes, Mr. Kappes's Robotics classes, and Mr. Kirk's Civil Engineering classes about how the United State military uses robotics to fulfill their missions. SSG Gajewski explained how he transitioned from the private sector to the military becoming a Demolition's Engineer in the United State Army.
