Saturday, December 9, 2017, Portage High School’s Business Professionals of America Chapter traveled to Kankakee Valley High School in Wheatfield, Indiana to compete in Region 1 competition and as always, Portage High School shinned brightly.
Business Professionals of America is the number one co-curricular activity. What students learn in class is then turned into a business related contest and students compete with eight other schools in the northwest Indiana region. Winners from this region’s competition will now compete at the state level in March. Winners from the state level will move onto national competition which this year is in Dallas, Texas.
