Aylesworth Elementary
The kindergarten team at Aylesworth has been very busy the last few weeks helping their students stretch their brains and learn new things. They have been talking about Growth Mindset, using their smart boards, and working on their reading skills. Always working hard over here at Aylesworth!

Saylor Elementary
Mr Woolever's 5th grade and Miss Leverich's Kindergaten Reading Buddies got together to build a Marshmallow Person. Each pair of Buddies were given marshmallows, toothpicks and stirrers and had to make a person. The marshmallow figures turned out pretty sweet!

PHS Collection for Hurricane Victims in Florida
Students recently participated in a Collection for hurricane victims in Florida. Brighitte Snemis' student, Sheridan Bickett, knew someone going to Florida in a semi-truck and in five days this is what they collected. Mrs. Morphis also collected items from her classes. Together they were able to collect so much!

PHS Posters
Alexis Rudolph, Brighitte Snemis (Spanish teacher), David Warwick, and Alslinn Garcia (featured from Left to Right), from their Spanish 4 class, display posters that they created for the yearly IFLTA poster contest. The theme this year was "Leading Indiana to the World."

Portage High School Digital Electronics Students
Portage High School teacher Andrew Rooks is demonstrating proper soldering techniques and safety while students build their own Random Number Generators. Digital Electronics is one of the many STEM courses offered by Portage Township Schools to enhance and increase student learning in the 21st. century.
