The Aylesworth Kindness Club volunteered at the Hobart Humane Society on Saturday. Our kids helped clean windows, fold newspaper for the kennels, play with cats, pull weeds, and wash windows! They rocked!

PHS Preparing for College and Careers Classes
Petty Officer First Class Victoria Vargas and Petty Officer Second Class Charles Blanchard visited with Portage High School Preparing for College and Careers classes. They were the first contact that many of our freshmen and sophomores had with the military. We were lucky that they were able to spend the entire day sharing with students the truth of what time in the Navy is like. They also covered the Montgomery GI bill, the Post 9/11 bill, and other pay and benefit issues.
