Aylesworth Elementary Porta-Botz
Aylesworth Porta-Botzs joined the Crisman Indians at Robotics competition Saturday at Colonel Wheeler Middle School in Crown Point. The Indians had an 8th place finish and the Porta-Botz 5th grade team finished 23rd and the 4th grade team 34th. We learned a lot about teamwork, patience, and perseverance after much mishap with our B bot. Our 4th grade team is excited to take what we learned and apply it to getting a jump start on next years program.

Saylor Elementary
Mrs. Campbell's 4th grade students LOVE angles. After working on a geometry lesson, Zander Ezra, Alena Hennings and Caleb Holtzman decided to make their own angles using carnations. They made right, obtuse and acute angles with their flowers. What a great way to learn and have fun at the same time! #pts_excels

PHS Business and Media Classes
Students from different Business and Media classes visited the Southshore Convention Center to learn about numerous career fields from the employees who work there. They had the opportunity to hear from almost every career field imaginable. They heard stories about each individual employee, and the path they took to get where they are. It was also a great networking opportunity to visit with a company that always looks to hire from Northwest Indiana.
