Saylor Elementary Laps for Learning
Just a few "before" pics from our Dodgeball game last Wednesday. Mrs. Stocky's 2nd grade class collected the most donations as a class for "Laps for Learning". The class won a dodgeball game against the staff! Pictured below are Mrs. Stocky's class warming up and our impartial referee Mrs. Holland. The students and staff "had a ball" playing against each other! In addition, all other classes were able to watch the game as it was live steamed to their classrooms!

Myers Elementary
First grade at Myers spent November talking about what they were thankful for, life long ago, the Mayflower and how the pilgrims settled in their new land. We also worked on reading several stories about turkeys. A first grade favorite is Turkey Trouble. Students listened about how the turkey tried to disguise himself from the farmer in hopes of surviving another Thanksgiving. Students got to create a project with their families and disguise their own turkey. Then students had to write a paper from the turkey proving that it was in fact not a turkey.
