They completed an election vocabulary hunt, a discussion of the voting process and Presidential criteria, and held a mock election with Mr. Phil Dietrich and Mrs. Diane Zuick's class, along with our office staff. The kids truly enjoyed knowing that their voices were heard!

PHS AP Government Class
Students in Mrs. Wysocki's AP Government Classes ran the Mock Election to ensure all students got a chance to vote. The students had to form committees to create the ballots, make campaign posters and videos to air on INN, create a photo station and hashtag to trend on social media to prepare for the election. They also supplied all of the labor participating in the distribution, collection, and analysis of the ballots. The students are currently interpreting and comparing data from the Mock Primary last Spring. They will use all of the data they have collected to create info graphics about the election and voting trends at PHS!
