Aylesworth Elementary
Aylesworth parents volunteer their time for a few hours to share what they do for our Career Fair. We had various careers including a firefighter, structural engineer, iron worker, dental assistant, clinical laboratory scientist, security manager, meat cutter, various mangers, and nurses. Our parents were excellent in engaging the kids and are so grateful for all of them! We can't wait for next years Career Fair!

Myers Elementary
April is National Poetry Month. In celebration of this, Myers 4th graders spent the month reading, analyzing and writing poetry. Many of the students discovered poems that quickly became their new favorite. At the end of the month, students took their favorite poem and wrote them on the blacktop using sidewalk chalk for all the world to see!
Saylor Elementary 4th Grade
Saylor 4th graders visited Buckley Homestead on Monday. Students visited a 1910 farm that was once a fully working dairy farm. They also visited a 1900 one room school house. They learned how different school was in 1900 to what it is today. The third visit was a 1850 pioneer farm where they were able to spend sometime In a log cabin. Learning about the past was a wonderful experience.
