Steelcase Education and Lincoln Office have provided the training for our teachers along with pre and post surveys. Overall, the students and staff rated the new furniture from A to B+. Here are some of the comments from the post survey.

Increased flexibility and mobility in the classroom
Easy transition to different modes of learning
Noticed an improvement in student engagement “less kids with their heads down during class”
Like the different colors for teams, competition and grouping
Supports Project Based Learning
Enjoy the flexibility and versatility of the teacher’s work station and podium
Makes more effective use of entire classroom without traditional “front’ of room limitation
Greater support for differentiated instruction due to mobility and flexibility
MediaScape beneficial, effective new addition to our Media Center
