The first Robotics tournament of the year for Portage High School's "The Porta-Botz!" yielded the good, the bad, and the unexpected. Competing at Crown Point High School in a field of twenty teams, "The Porta-Botz!" had a robot make Finals and place 3rd overall, while one of the team's Engineering notebooks received a perfect score.
Students demonstrated the ability to respond quickly, solving problems and working together to tackle the challenges of the tournament.
Ultimately, everyone gained valuable experience that will serve as a driving force in the coming weeks while preparing for the next robotics competition in Noblesville, IN. Thanks to all the parents who came out support "The Porta-Botz!"
