2nd Grade Goes to Sunset Hill Farms
Saylor second grade classes went to Sunset Hill Farm Wednesday! We had been learning about the life cycle of frogs and read "Frog and Toad are Friends" in preparation for our field trip. We saw tadpoles, froglets, and adult bullfrogs!
4th Grade Makes September 11th Memorial Quilt
Saylor 4th grade students watched a cartoon video explaining September 11th and what happened. We asked them to make a classroom quilt about what they saw, and how it made them feel. They could write a thank you letter to the heroes that helped save everyone or draw a picture. This quilt was their reaction to how September 11th made them feel.
