On May 27th, the Kindergarten students at Myers Elementary had a visit from Allison Anderson from the Porter County Recycling and Waste Reduction. Students had a fun, hands-on learning experience on how insects, ladybugs in particular, are important to the environment. After learning about the lifecycle and the importance of ladybugs, students released a ladybug into their natural habitat.
