Mrs. Brighitte Snemis’ Spanish classes collected some small stuffed animals to donate to the Portage Police Department. These toys are given to children during stressful situations. Mrs. Snemis was pleased to collect four boxes of toys to present to Chief William along with officers Kathryn Crook and Trent Howard. Gia Burris is a Junior at Portage High School she represented Snemis’ students. One of the five critical values that are encouraged at Portage High School is to be compassionate. PHS students care about the children in their community.
