Last Thursday, 50 students attended a Junior Achievement job shadowing program at the Indiana Welcome Center where the South Shore Convention and Visitors Authority staff shared stories about their education, job roles and responsibilities, and how they worked together in the tourism industry to encourage people to come to Northwest Indiana.
Many of the jobs were highly technical and it was obvious how technology has changed the job market making it excited for this group of technology driven students.
