PHSCrestThe first semester of the school is quickly coming to the end in Freshmen P.E.. Fitness Gram testing has been done twice and the final Fitness Gram Test for this group will occur just before the Holiday Break. Badminton, Tennis, Volleyball and Swimming have all been successful. Despite losing a couple of students to medical and No Dress situations, this group of Freshmen continue to do a pretty good job. I still believe that the number of PL 1’s, Parent calls and No dresses are down from last year.

The term ‘God willing and the creek don’t rise” came to mind last Thursday when I came in early before school to work out, as the “Creek” had risen inside the West building to the point where it was flowing out the front doors and across the parking lot due to a water main break. If you were not here to see and smell what had happened, you missed out. However, it did not look as bad as when the ceiling collapsed or when the kids sprayed the chemical fire extinguishers and vandalized the building. We did get a good bit of water on the Gym floor and so now the effected boards are starting to curl up like potato chips. (Maybe not that bad) We will survive, although we cannot use a large portion of the gym floor until it gets fixed.
