The students at Willowcreek Middle School were awarded for their contribution in the Portage School District being awarded an "A" grade. They were allowed to come to school with their favorite hats and wear pajama pants. They had ice cream for dessert and were allowed to use their electronic devices during lunch period.
Passing periods were fun with music playing overhead and names were also drawn for students of each grade to come down and choose some fun prizes. Mrs. Stewart wanted to make sure the students knew that she appreciated the hard work and part they played along with all the staff in making the A rating possible.
