On Thursday, October 23, students in Cathy Nye’s PHS US History classes got to experience some of the culture of the 1860s. Throughout the day, Miss Nye – dressed in Civil War costume – took her classes outside where she taught them some of the dances of the Civil War, including the Virginia Reel.
