To help celebrate Arbor Day this month (Friday, April 25th) our fifth graders participated in an Arbor Day Poster Contest. During our science class for the last two weeks, we have been working hard learning all about trees and how they benefit our environment. Each student was responsible for creating a poster that illustrates some of the facts they have learned. The top eight posters were sent on to the regional judges where the posters will be going against other students’ posters in Indiana! We had so many great posters to pick from! A big congratulations goes to these eight students… Katie Griffith, Owen Remmel, Holly Heldt, Zander Marcotte, Nate Kunstek, Bella Flores, Autumn Music, and Piper Perryman!
