Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana Welcomes New Program Director for South Haven Club

Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana is proud to announce Bradley Treadway as the Program Director for Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana’s South Haven Club. While new to the position, Brad is not new to Boys & Girls Clubs. In 2013, Brad was hired as a Youth Development Professional for the Cedar Lake Club. While his main responsibilities at the Cedar Lake Club focused on healthy lifestyle programming in the Club’s gymnasium and running leagues, he also helped in other program areas and also worked at the Club’s front desk ensuring Club members checked in and out of the Club safely.

His experience in Club programming extends to such programs as Passport to Manhood, Do It Yourself STEM activities, Too Good For Drugs prevention programming, Junior Staff Career Development, and Torch Club which is a youth-led community service group.

A graduate of Crown Point High School, Brad pursued a degree in elementary education at Purdue Northwest before switching to pursuing a degree in social work which he is in the process of obtaining. As a result of his experience and his unique ability to form positive and mentoring relationships with youth, Brad was promoted to serve as the South Haven Club’s Program Director.

“I love working with kids,” states Treadway. “I love working with them, forming positive relationships, and really getting to know our communities’ youth as individuals. Working at the Boys & Girls Club allows me and others to make a positive impact on youth and help them discover their talents through endless opportunities when they are not in school. I also want to recognize Ryan Elinkowski and Kris Balog who are Club Directors that I have worked with. Without their guidance, I would not be where I am today – and I would not have the opportunity to make a difference in the South Haven community as the Club’s new Program Director,” he states further.

Married for two years, Brad currently lives in Hebron and is looking forward to continue serving within Boys & Girls Clubs of Greater Northwest Indiana’s family.
