St. Mary Medical Center Welcomes Electrophysiologist to Medical Staff

Ajam-Samer-MDSt. Mary Medical Center recently welcomed a new physician to its medical staff. Electrophysiologist Samer Ajam, MD, is the newest member of the Community Care Network, Inc. – the physician group affiliated with St. Mary Medical Center. Dr. Ajam specializes in the diagnosis and treatment of irregular heart rhythms or arrhythmias, including the most common type of rhythm disorder, atrial fibrillation.

“The field of electrophysiology has made exciting advances over the past several years,” says Dr. Ajam. “I enjoy utilizing these developments to help my patients achieve success, especially those who are no longer experiencing relief from their current treatments.”

Dr. Ajam has completed fellowships in clinical cardiac electrophysiology and cardiovascular diseases at the Indiana University School of Medicine. Dr. Ajam is also board certified in internal medicine, echocardiography, and nuclear cardiology. He received his medical degree and completed his residency at the Indiana University School of Medicine.
