Porter Health Care System has named Janelle Miller as the hospital’s new Manager of the Medical Surgical Department.
Miller has been supporting nurses and patients at Porter as interim manager of the department since August 2015. Before that she developed leadership skills as evening house supervisor and as a charge nurse in ICU.
“I’m excited about moving forward in my new role,” Miller says. “We provide great care at Porter, and I want to help ensure that continues.”
Miller received her associate degree in Nursing from Vincennes University and is pursuing her bachelor’s.
