The Franciscan Physician Network-Omni Family Health Center in Schererville recently received a Star Performer Award for achieving clinical performance measures, best-practice implementation, patient outreach efforts and demonstrating a passion for quality, from MDwise, an Indiana-based nonprofit health care insurance firm, which is nationally accredited to measure service standards for its clients.

The center also received a $1,000 check. Trainor praised clinic supervisor Judy Boender and the physicians and staff members, adding, “Judy provides strong leadership. This staff does exemplary work and has a strong compassion for quality.
