The Ultra Foods location at 1200 N. Kennedy Dr. in Kankakee, IL will celebrate the completion of an extensive remodel with a grand re-opening event scheduled for Wednesday, January 11th beginning at 9:00 am with the ribbon cutting. Everyone in the community is invited to come see the improvements made to their store.
Customers will find an exciting expansion of fresh meal solutions for Kankakee’s busy families. The expanded organic produce offering and an entirely new bulk foods section, round out the upgrades to a new and larger produce department. Some of the other additions include a much wider selection of freshly prepared entrees to include a new fresh sushi bar with sushi made fresh daily directly right in front of the shopper. The deli now offers 40 plus new varieties of slicing meats and cheeses, a new full salad bar and a hot foods and chicken wing bar. Rounding the corner, shoppers will see an expanded full service bakery to include an all new gourmet dessert program along with an updated meat case that now offers a larger variety of grab and go meal solutions to make shoppers’ lives easier. The store will also offer a new full selection of beer, wine and spirits in addition to a floral department that’s nearly twice the size, offering more fresh floral upgrade and custom arrangement choices than ever before.
