Lyn Wellsand will be opening her one-woman exhibit this Saturday with a reception from 6-8 p.m. at the Chesterton Art Center. The show includes Lyn's work in painting, photography and illustration, all revolving around the theme, "Floral Convergence - Where Fine Art & Illustration Meet". The reception will include a string quartet, as well as treats and beverages for attendees. The Chesterton Art Center is located at 115 S. 4th St., Chesterton, IN 46304. The RePurpose Place is a non-profit retail store selling new and gently used building materials, appliances, furniture, cabinetry, counter tops, kitchen and bathroom fixtures, lumber, drywall and more to support the mission of NeighborLink Porter County. NeighborLink Porter County is a nonprofit organization that invites Porter County residents to seek free assistance from their neighbors, and invites Porter County residents to join volunteer project teams to provide free assistance to those who are marginalized in the community.
