Michelle Gonzalez, Accounting Manager and CPA with Laciak>cpa, was recently appointed to the Board of Directors for Opportunity Enterprises. With nearly 15 years of accounting experience, Gonzalez was a natural fit to assist with financial information preparation and reporting for the 47 year old Valparaiso-based non-profit organization. OE’s mission is to maximize self-sufficiency and enrich the quality of life for people with disabilities.
The organization serves 1100 adults and children throughout Northwest Indiana. Gonzalez and her husband Chris, Creative Arts Pastor at Valparaiso Nazarene, enjoy attending OE’s multitude of events, including the annual gala and Christmas Market.
