Join us for a dance of sorts, Saturday, April 5. We'll meet at the main park entrance parking lot for a Bog sucker Ballet at 7:30 p.m. Learn about the amazing woodcock and go on a search for them. Dress for the weather and some off-trail hiking. Hope is a Thing with Feathers is a special presentation by noted author Joel Greenberg. Joel will be on hand to showcase his new book commemorating 100 years since the Passenger Pigeon went extinct. Join us on Sunday, April 6 at 2 p.m. for this special program, sponsored by the Shirley Heinze Land Trust.

The Duneland YMCA and Chasing Dreams are hosting an Easter Egg Hunt for individuals with Special Needs, their families, their friends and the community. Chasing Dreams is an organization with the vision that a community can exist where individuals with special needs are valued, respected and included. Games and photos will be available in addition to the egg hunt. Children should bring their own basket to participate. All ages are welcome. Join us this Sunday at Road to Life Church as we begin our April series, "GOD'S NOT DEAD." Road to Life is a thriving church that offers cutting edge worship and teaching that is relevant to this generation. We meet every Sunday at Chesterton Middle School with services at 9 and 11am. Our youth ministry, The Avenue, will also be meeting this Sunday at the Duneland YMCA. Purdue University North Central will host an MBA Information Session for those interested in earning a PNC Master of Business Administration degree on Tuesday, April 8 from 6pm to 8pm at Purdue University North Central - Porter County Graduate Building, Room 10, at 600 Vale Park Road, Valparaiso. The PNC MBA class schedule is designed to meet the needs of working adults, with classes conveniently offered on Saturdays. Students, regardless of their baccalaureate field will be able to complete their degrees in less than two years. Wrap It Up is adopting an Easter child. Do you know of a child that won't be receiving an Easter basket this year? Or a child who's gone through some difficult times? Easter Pysanky Egg Classes

Mary Acton will be teaching Easter Pysanky Egg classes at the Chesterton Art Center on Wednesday, April 9 from 6-9 p.m., and again on Saturday, April 12 from 9-12 a.m. The students will learn this traditional technique using wax and dyes to create beautiful Easter egg decorations.
