Good to Go by Lucrezia's new location in downtown Valparaiso will be the location for the Duneland Chamber of Commerce's After Hours gathering from 4 p.m. – 6 p.m. on Wednesday, February 12.
Good to Go by Lucrezia staff experts will be presenting "Watch the Mozz," – a live demonstration in which mozzarella cheese will be prepared from scratch using raw cow's milk from Chesterton's Sanders Farm.
After Hours guests also will be able to participate in the Big Cheese Contest by guessing the weight of an impressively large round of cheese before the contest's wrap-up at 5 p.m. while enjoying delicious samples of Good to Go by Lucrezia's select deli offerings. A pair of sommeliers will be offering wine education and pours for a nominal fee during the event, an additional glasses of wine will be available for purchase.
"When we signed up to host an After Hours event, we wanted to offer a dynamic experience for our guests. There will be plenty of time for networking and visiting, but there also will be a lot of activity at Good to Go by Lucrezia that evening," said Nada Karas, co-owner of the establishment. "From mozzarella making to wine education to the Big Cheese Contest, there will be plenty of fun, intriguing activities to enliven the evening. We're even going to offer guests the opportunity to see what it's like to help cut and assemble cheeses after they arrive in the shop. This definitely will be a hands-on After Hours event!"
Good to Go by Lucrezia's new Valparaiso shop is located at 54 W. Lincolnway (directly across from the new Splash Pad in the city's Central Park Plaza). The After Hours event is free to attend and is open to Duneland Chamber of Commerce and Valparaiso Chamber of Commerce members.
