The Women's Diagnostic Center at St. Mary Medical Center was granted a three-year/full accreditation by the National Accreditation Program for Breast Centers (NAPBC), a program administered by the American College of Surgeons. Accreditation by the NAPBC is only given to those centers that have voluntarily committed to provide the highest level of quality breast care and that undergo a rigorous evaluation process and review of their performance.

She earned her MBA from Indiana University in 2009 and brings more than 11 years of healthcare experience. She was previously employed with another health care system where she was the Operations Manager for Physician Practices including: Primary Care, OB/GYN, Medical Oncology, General Surgery, and Internal Medicine. In addition to physician practice experience, Teresa is a Certified Radiology Administrator and a Registered Radiologic Technologist. Kempfer resides in Michigan City.
