As the Y puts Christian principles into practice through programs that build healthy spirit, mind and body for all, we look to share the impact of our mission with outlets that strive to focus on the positive. I had previously worked with Chris Mahlmann during my time as CEO of the Portage Township YMCA and was mesmerized by how he and his staff perfectly captured all of the wonderful things the Y was doing for the community,” said Dave Kasarda. the Director of Operations for the La Porte County Family YMCA. "When the opportunity arose for the La Porte County YMCA and LaPorteCountyLife.com to collaborate, it just felt like a natural fit. We build relationships that further our sense of belonging and purpose within the community and the LIFE network is the perfect organization to help us make that happen.”
