On Tuesday night, May 26 the Portage Township Educational Foundation presented the winners with their certificates. The winners were introduced at the May school board meeting, which was held at Meyers Elementary School. The grant recipients from Portage High School are:
Paula Wiese received her grant for ceramics. Students will be making ceramic tiles & bowls using the Renaissance style of glaze called Majolica.
Heidi Thibideau received her grant for a summer reading program, to give students reading material to take home over the summer.
