Tami Kepshire’s Anatomy & Physiology II class participated in a videoconference of live neurosurgery on April 16. This surgery, a discectomy, was projected from the Liberty Science Center in New Jersey onto the “big screen” in the high school’s LGI room. Students were able to talk to the medical personnel during the surgery and asked some great questions. Way to go PHS students! This is the third year for the class and videoconferencing of live surgery is part of the curriculum.
