Portage High School senior Samantha Hernandez has accepted a scholarship to attend the Milwaukee School of Engineering in Milwaukee, Wisconsin where she will major in Biomedical Engineering. Samantha is Project Lead the Way (PLTW) student at PHS and is a member of National Honor Society. She is also involved with the PHS Future Engineers club, Pep Band, Marching Band and Concert Band. Samantha is an active member of Nativity of Our Savior Catholic Church in Portage and teaches Religious Education to younger students. She has five sisters and is the daughter of Rudy and Cathy Hernandez.
