2014 Indiana Elvis Fantasy Festival: “Red, Hot, and Blue”

Elvis-Fantasy-FestThe Indiana Elvis Fantasy Fest returns to Portage October 10-12, 2014, with the theme, "Red, Hot and Blue." Festival events will take place at the Woodland Park Community Center.

DJ Fontana, Elvis's original drummer, will make a special guest appearance as host of the Saturday night dinner provided by the Porter County Special Olympics. Fans will have the chance to meet the legendary drummer who joined Elvis, Scotty Moore and Bill Black as they began Presley's rise to superstardom. Fontana now holds a place in the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame.

Elvis tribute artists will take part in a preliminary contest for the 2015 Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist Contest. Saturday evening's headliner show will feature 2013 Ultimate Elvis Tribute Artist, Dean Z. Past champions Ted Torres, Robert Washington and last year's champion, Tim E Hendry, will also perform, as will Chicago's premiere Neil Diamond tribute artist, Denny Diamond.

Elvis memorabilia will be available from both licensed vendors and through an auction for the benefit of the Porter County Special Olympics. The event is part of the ElvisFestival.com series of events. The festival is licensed by Elvis Presley Enterprises, Inc. and last year donated $14,640 to the Porter County Special Olympics.
