PHS-LogoGirls varsity tennis beat Marquette 3 - 2 Emily Sajda won at #2 singles 6-0, 6-0 #1 doubles - Lauren Wilk & Emily Vahary won 6-2, 6-0 #2 doubles - Patty Mota & Haley Mergl won 6-0, 6-0 JV won 6 – 0

Varsity softball beat Chesterton 6-1 Kiley Jones went 2 for 3 with a 2 run homerun and 3 RBIs, she struck out 7 to get the win Andrien hall was 3 for 4 with 2 doubles Haley Perez added 2 hits with a double and an RBI

JV won 3-2 Jocelyn Sulivan had a double Jeanine Bryan 2 for 3 Allison Stanley had an RBI Sierra Mueller went 2 for 3 with a double

The varsity baseball team pounded out 13 hits as they defeated Griffith 10-0 in 5 innings. The offense was paced by Chris Klenk, Peter Psomadelis, & Jared Ford who each had 2 hits apiece. Kevin Jones and Sam Schest each had 3 RBIs in the win. Kevin Jones picked up his second win on the season, striking out 9 in 4 innings.

JV won 18-2

Results from the Girl’s track meet versus Boone Grove and Wheeler Portage 83 Wheeler 31 Portage 104 Boone Grove 18 Top finishers in the meet: The 4x800 relay of Paige pizer, Keanna Crum, Kyra Ball, Rhyan Sloan finished in 1st place Paige Pizer finished in 1st place in the 800 M Run. Kyra Ball finished 2nd in the Mile run followed by Rebecca Timm. The 4x 100 M relay team of Dajanae Marshall, Arianna Noble, Jasmine Johnson, and Lindsay Thomas also finished in first place.

Victoria Ostrander finished 1st in the 100 meter dash and 2nd in the 400. Lucy Appelman Mackenzie Jones and Anacelia Martinez finished 1st 2nd and 3rd in the 3200 m run. In the long jump Diana Alonzo finished in place followed by Brooke Jackson and Alicia Pickens. Angelica Lopez won the High Jump followed by Aeriel Rozwara. Delaney Barcelli finished 2nd in the Pole Vault followed by Nicole Blackburn and Erika Kondratavicius. In the Discus Senior Ashley Sosbe finished in first followed by Whitney White and Victoria Farley. Ashley Sosbe also won the Shot put followed by Brianna Coleman and Victoria Farley.
